larsenIf you can’t get all the beautiful gowns at the 81st Annual Academy Awards out of your mind, you are not alone!  The only thing that could have made today’s starlets and thespians more beautiful was if their dresses had been ean co-friendly from Larsen Gray.  Larsen Gray is the eco-collection of season one Project Runway contestant Nora Caliguri and friend Rachelyn Porter.  The line uses organic cotton, soy, bamboo, eco-wool, recycled polyester, recycled wool, and silk fabrics in their designs.  The silk dress above gives a fresh, youthful twist on the evening gown, with it’s pointed sweetheart neckline and the empire waist accentuated with gold studded banding.  Click here for the line’s official website, or here to buy an item of from ShopBop.

I’m in the mood for love over here at orGLAMic, so here is a fun little undies posting for all you ladies! My new favorite is Mya Underwear by g=9.8 They are made from recycled white pine-tree pruning and are super sexy and orGLAMic at the same time. I hear that recycled white pine-tree pruning is as soft as silk with the feel of cashmere, sounds just about right for skivvies made in a small village in France. Oh, and as Kim Kardashian recently pointed out to us over here at Hollywood Green with Maria Menounos – you can step it up a notch in the green department by showering with your significant other!
