If a dog is a man’s best friend, than Molly Mutt is an orGLAMic man’s best friend.  Keep your BFF happy with these eco-friendly, chic dog bed duvets by this California-based company.  I adore the Title Track Dog Duvet show above and while it may not be the most appropriate Manly Monday selection, I thought I would show you the pattern I personally placed an order for.  While not made of organic cotton (yet…) these pouches are designed to be stuffed with items you already own, such as old dog bed filler, ratty blankets, or clothing that even Goodwill won’t take!  This upcycling keeps waste out of landfills and helps repurpose materials otherwise destined for the dump.  Click here to shop the entire eco-minded collection.

Nau makes it easy for men to be orGLAMic and dress impeccably while doing it.  The simple and hip designs by this eco-friendly company help men dress in MY favorite balance of “Los Angeles meets Wast Coast” style.  The Vice Blazer is made of primarily 100% recycled poly/organic cotton fabric and is wind-resistant and water-repellent.  Even better, at the end of the durable jackets life you can go ahead and send the garment back to Nau and they will recycle it into polyester fiber for reuse all over again!  Click here to purchase the Vice Blazer and here to check out the men’s clothing currently on sale for up to 60% off.

As fall finally approaches Los Angeles, I am heading straight to the beach this weekend to capture my last days in the sand.  What would make my excursion truly orGLAMic is a bag from Sea Bags.  Each bag is handmade from recycled sails (yes, like the kind from sailboats) so styles, shape and size vary with each purchase.  Because of the fact they are made of sails, all the bags are durable, water-resistant, washing-machine friendly, and orGLAMic!  Check out the options, and even custom order your own bag here.

Those of you that have been reading orGLAMic for a while know that I am nuts about Design Within Reach.  Now I present you with just one more reason I think this design retailer is the tops: the Emeco Kong chair designed by Philippe Starck.  This armchair (also available as a bar stool with or without arm rests) is made from 80% recycled aluminum and has a sleek orGLAMic look that I love.  We all know that recycling is important, but did you realize that making new aluminum takes 20 times more energy than recycling it does? Get your butt into orGLAMic gear today by clicking here!
