Picture 1The offshoot of one of my favorite interior design companies, WeeGoBaby, keeps unveiling more and more orGLAMic items that are the same great design that I have come to expect from WeeGo.  I love the look of these Glass Bottles available at babyearth.com.  WeeGo has taken eco- and health-conscious glass bottles (bisphenol A, phthalate, PVC and polycarbonate-free!) and added a protective sleeve for safety purposes that ups the design factor as well!  Free of plastics and latex respectively, the sleeve and nipples are both non-toxic as well.  The plastic ring, plug and cap contain no polycarbonates, are FDA-approved and recyclable.  Click here to purchase this orGLAMic baby bottle.

Editor’s note: These bottles are made by Life Factory, whose website is available here.

modgreenpod1Wallpaper is officially cool again (it’s true, ask the coolness gods), and orGLAMic has been scouring the eco-friendly market for something green and stylish. Offering fabric and totes as well, Mod Green Pod has five different mod wallpaper designs to die for. The wallpapers are vinyl/PVC-free and are made of water-based inks on cellulose paper. As my trusty orGLAMic readers should know by now, the production of vinyl is extremely toxic and dioxins have been linked to immune system suppression, reproductive disorders, a variety of cancers, and endometriosis. Not something you want in your home!  Click here to check out all the fabulous offerings from Mod Green Pod…and check out my favorite of the wallpapers below…so subtle and orGLAMic!

I am in love.  It’s true, I think that the Vers Audio iPod Docking Station really may have won me over and converted me to a techie lover.  This sustainable version of the plastic docking stations that are littering our planet is beautifully designed and IS my definition of orGLAMic.

vers1This docking system plays and charges iPod Video, iPod Nano, iPod mini, iPod, iPod classic, iPod touch and iPhone.  Using the most environmentally friendly bonding agents available, each Vers 2X is 100% RoHS-compliant (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and even the plastic components are PVC & BFR free.  The units are designed for complete disassembly so all parts can be recycled and packaging is from 100% post-consumer recycled content.  Even better, if you send in your old iPod docking system, they will make sure that it is recycled properly and give you a $30 credit!  It doesn’t get any better (or louder) than this!  Click here to purchase.
