One of my favorite mass retailers has gone green!  Banana Republic just launched the Heritage line as part of it’s Summer 2009 collection.  Comprised of both men’s and women’s clothing, this orGLAMic, eco-friendly line uses fabric made out of organic cotton, soy silk and bamboo fabrics while still retaining the chic look that Banana Republic is known for.  As Simon Kneen, the executive vice president of design, said, “sustainability is the new luxury” and it’s clear that the company is continuing to make luxury affordable with these orGLAMic pieces ranging from only $39 to $150.  If you can’t wait for these orGLAMic finds to hit stores, check out the first selections available online by clicking here.
