Paired with slouchy boyfriend jeans and an equally slouchy T, these orGLAMic flats by Naya are perfect for a springtime jaunt about town.  The Stoneham gladiator-inspired t-strap sandals are eco-consciously made of chrome-free leather, nickel-free buckles, biodegradable foam cushioning, a bamboo heel and an outsole made of recycled cork.  The company’s entire collection is made with eco-friendly products whenever possible, and this design is my favorite.  Naya makes it easy to purchase a pair of these orGLAMic shoes, with items available both online and in stores nationwide.  Click here to buy online and here to find a store near you.

Artecnica

I love the look of these multi-purpose, orGLAMic cork cases by Artecnica.  The fact that they can be used and reused for so many purposes makes these products even more orGLAMic than the fact that they are crafted from 100% recycled billboards and sustainable cork.  Inspired by the simple design of a traditional envelope, I could see myself using the largest clutch as an daytime clutch with a simple jean outfit or sundress (or to even organize office supplies!)  Ranging from $18-$36 these would make orGLAMic gifts.  Click here to purchase one today.

corticaWhile the Los Angeles sun quickly came and went, as I was laying out getting a healthy dose of vitamin D yesterday I was inspired to hunt for a durable, eco-friendly chaise lounge.  Brooklyn-based designer Daniel Michalik came to my rescue with the Cortica Chaise Lounge.  This orGLAMic lounge chair is made of 100% reclaimed cork (discard from the bottle-stopper industry) and non-toxic marine grade adhesive (okay, and a smaaaaall amount of polyurethane.)  Cork is renewable material, it is lightweight, naturally waterproof and even buoyant!  It is also impervious to rot and mold, so can be used indoors our outdoors for years to come. For more info on this lounge chair, and other of Daniel’s orGLAMic work, click here.
