Heather Heron offers striking purses and totes that are made out of organic hemp (although the line does include leather…) and handcrafted by artisans right here in Los Angeles. My favorite from the Fall 2008 collection is the Aspen, which comes in dark chocolate with black piping and details. The refined, muted look is perfect for fall and large enough to carry as days worth of stuff in there (what is all the stuff that collects in my purse, and why is it necessary?!) Click here to check out the orGLAMic line loved by two of my faves Reese Witherpoon and Michelle Williams.

Other than the fact that I love the name of this line (kind of obnoxious/kind of hilarious/VERY L.A.), Rich Hippie offers organic perfumes that are positively orGLAMic.  Rich Hippie perfume is made using traditional methods.   The perfumes are made by mixing plant and flower extracts that are either organic or wildcrafted with wine alcohol that is naturally made from organically grown grapes harvested from the great wine regions of California.  Scents are fabulously named, and range from Devotion and Bohemian Wedding to the unisex Nirvana and Utopia.  Click here to purchase these orGLAMic perfumes.

One of my favorite design stores offers several eco-friendly products that I love. One of these are the set of three rubber tubs. They are made of discarded tires and are hand cut and hand sewn into vessels that can be used indoors or out as planters, carrying containers, recycling bins or space for gardening supplies (you are growing your own organic veggie garden…right?) These are orGLAMic in their sleek design and their durability guarantees that you will have these around for years and years to come. Click here to buy these recycled tubs.

Pottery Barn

Pottery Barn has jumped on the organic and the ikat print bandwagon simultaneously – quite impressive! Even more impressive is that this beautiful bedding made of organic cotton fibers that aren’t treated with toxic chemicals like pesticides and herbicides is on sale right now with prices as low as $9.99. While the red/clementine orange pattern is displayed above, the entire bedding set is also available in green apple/pineapple yellow or ink blue/ocean breeze. Nevermind the not-so-orGLAMic names, and click here to spend the night swathed in chemical-free bliss.

Skoon

I have to admit that the reason I picked this particular item is because the accompanying picture is absolutely adorable!  Skoon has so many wonderful organic items for babies, ranging from onsies to plush toys to cotton diapers, it was a hard choice.  The orGLAMic Round Kimono in Rose, pictured above, is 100% Egyptian organic cotton with thoughtful details to protect babies sensitive skin.  The stitches are sown outside to avoid direct contact with skin and all snaps are nickel-free to lessen irritation.  Click here to purchase the kimono which is now on sale for only $19.50.  Who said being orGLAMic had to be expensive?!?!

Terralina Gentle Facial Cleanser is one of the most orGLAMic cleansers out there. It’s sulfate-free formula removes makeup, dirt and impurities without the use of harsh detergents or mineral oils. The oat and botanical cleansers are compatible with the skin’s natural pH balance, while emollient olive oil calms and moisturizes skin throughout the cleansing process.

Terralina products don’t contain parabens, PEGs, ethoxylates, glycol, acrylates, mineral oils, silicones, or artificial fragrance (this particular cleanser is scented with rosewood and white tea). Making this product even more orGLAMic – the packaging is made of 100% post consumer recycled material.
